The story begins in Egypt. Motherland Beginnings captures the warmth, comfort and safety of our very first home – a feeling as close as a mother's embrace.
The scent was created by perfumer Shadi Samra, originally from Syria. The cultural closeness between Egypt and Syria, the many familiar details of everyday life, made him the ideal partner to translate this emotion into fragrance.
At its centre are Egyptian jasmine and Egyptian geranium, accompanied by juicy orange, mango and fig. A warm, floral-fruity scent that feels familiar, even if you've never been there yourself.
